Work in the cab

Working on the parts of the cab, like the doors, bench seat, dashboard, and the uh...rust.

For some reason the side mirrors were deleted. The mounts were welded shut and painted over.

I could see where the mounts were from inside the door and re-drilled the holes.

And my new old stock mirror is mounted on the door again.

The 1967 trucks had round mirrors but I opted for the square for more visability and safety.

Found the old holes on the right side and got that mounted too.

The fuel guage wasn't working so ordered a new one. Will see if it fixes the issue.

Picked up a bench seat with better foam and frame.

Stripped the upholstery off and repainted the frames.

Ready to put the new seat covers on.

The vent window needed to have the rubber replaced.

No easy task. It took a while to repaint and replace the rubber.

Got the vent window and rubber seals in during a rain squall. Good timing!

The window muolding was very old.

Got the passenger side done, took less time.

Door panels still need replacing but at least I can roll the window down now.
