Working on the engine and the transmission. When I bought the truck it was working pretty good but it was running a little rough and the transmission had a leak.

Chevy 327 V-8.
Restored an old air filter.
Edlebrock carb I had to rebuild.
Pulled the plugs, lots of oil.
Found the reason it was running bad, this spark plug had zero gap.
The others had a correct gap.
After changing the transmission pan gasket I noticed a leak.
Investigation turned up the broken speedometer gear and bad seal.
This gear has 45 teeth. A $12 part.
After changing the gear and the gaskets 2x it still leaks.
